Veterans Park, in West Arlington, features a military memorial with freestanding columns, plus a disc golf course, an equestrian trail, and a performing arts stage. The International Bowling Museum has exhibits tracing the game's history and culture. Temporary shows at the Arlington Museum of Art focus mainly on contemporary works, including ones by Texas artists.
The National Videogame Museum has rare gaming consoles and arcade machines. Next door, Sci-Tech Discovery Center offers hands-on exhibits for kids. To the northeast, Frisco Commons Park features playgrounds, a fishing pond, and an amphitheater.
